Hi, I’m Cynthia
I’m an Art Therapist living on the Coast Salish Territory of the Lək̓ʷəŋən-speaking peoples, also known as Victoria, British Columbia. I am deeply committed to guiding you through life’s challenges using the transformative power of creative expression. As a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor (RTC) with the ACCT and an Art Therapist with the Canadian Art Therapy Association, I bring a unique blend of expertise to support your mental and emotional well-being.
My primary focus is helping clients navigate the complexities of women’s health and anxiety, offering tailored support to both adults and teens. I am particularly passionate about addressing the specific needs related to women’s hormonal health, including the transitions of Postpartum, Menopause, Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD), and the hormonal changes that affect teenage girls. I also work with clients facing anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and PTSD.
When I’m not working with clients, I love spending time outdoors, creating and connecting with nature. Camping, hiking, and making art outside are some of my favorite ways to recharge. There’s something so peaceful about a cool dip in the ocean or listening to a good rainstorm. I also cherish quiet moments at home, curled up on the couch with a book and my dog, Midge.
These experiences ground me, and I bring that calm into my work, helping clients discover their own spaces of comfort and renewal.
